A study in two colours and one letter. The cap sits still on its plinth, and everything the design has to say is already said by the time the eye settles.
Design Story
The front panel carries an outlined W in gold, scaled large enough to own the crown without crowding its seams. Its interior stays burgundy, so the letter reads as line and edge rather than mass — restraint doing the work of volume. On the side, a smaller emblem holds a domed capitol and obelisk silhouette above the words Washington Commanders, a quieter second register for the eye to find after the monogram releases it. Gold against deep burgundy is the entire contrast system: warm against warm, light against dark, nothing competing.
Wear & Styling
On a structured fitted cap with a high front crown, the embroidered monogram meets the viewer at eye level, upright and undistorted. The flat brim in gold closes the composition below, repeating the logo colour and turning the whole silhouette into one continuous statement. Worn plainly, it reads as everyday headwear; read closely, it reads as graphic design.
Two colours, one letter, no excess. The hierarchy is the design.
